Reservations for new clients will be scheduled at the time of the initial consultation.
Reservations for established clients may be made via telephone, email or our computerized scheduling program. Scheduling is done on a first come first serve basis. We will, however, always try to accommodate your needs.
Confirmation. Client must telephone or email Pampered Pet Sitting (PPS) 48 hours prior to scheduled departure to confirm reservation. PPS will acknowledge receipt of reservation.
Extended Stays. PPS will confirm by voice mail or email any client request for an extension of service.
Cancellation Non-Holiday. PPS understands that plans may change. PPS will not charge a cancellation fee if client gives adequate notice of such cancellation and Pet Sitter is not directly en route to your home.
Cancellation Holiday. At Thanksgiving and Christmas, there will be a cancellation charge of one-half of the scheduled visits. This amount shall be due within five days of cancellation notice. Should any portion of the prepaid unused home care visits originally reserved not be used, one half of same will be credited toward future pet sits. There will be no cash refunds issued.
Late Booking Fee. If you call us with less than two days notice to request pet sitting visits, we may charge you a per visit fee as a Late Booking Fee in order to rearrange our schedules and accommodate your needs.
Inclement Weather, Natural Disaster, Act of War. In the event of inclement weather, natural disaster, act of war, PPS will use its best judgment regarding the care of your pets and your home. This includes but is not limited to altering visit times and feeding schedules. Should PPS not be able to make a house visit, PPS will depend on an emergency contact provided by you at time of initial consultation. Emergency contact information must be kept current, and emergency contact person must be able to access your home.
Keys – Retainage and/or Return. PPS will retain two sets of keys to your home in our office. If keys must be returned, there will be a $10 charge for their return and a $10 charge for all subsequent trips.
Payment. Payment is due at the time of initial consultation or on the first day the service begins. Payment may also be made via Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card before on the first day of service provided PPS has Client charge card information on file.
The client copy of PPS’s Client Contract which has been read and signed at the initial consultation contains further policy/legal agreements made.
